This is my story. On December 23rd, 2005 I got a really bad migrain. I went to my dr. I got MRI's Cat scan. Nothing was there. Nothing was wrong. After having this bad Migrain for 3 1/2 months.. I finaly got help in March '06. I went to a dr. for a cold. He looked at my chart and said you have Fibromyalgia. I got some meds for that and it took away my migrain in a day. It helped my muscles not hurt so bad. Also in march, i rolled over in bed one night, Dislocating my shoulder. The next night i dislocated my elbow. Both on my right side. I have had prob.s with dislocating my knees. We didnt think anything of it. I went to diff. drs and found out i have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). With the EDS i also have TMJ & IBS. I am on med's for all of that. Jan 16th and 17th, 2007 I found out i am having seizures and i have Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS). Meaning I get low blood presser, i pass out.
I have many braces i have to wear at times. I have a elbow brace, 2 knee braces, neck brace, ankle brace, Back brace ( i have to wear at least 20 hrs a day) Shoulder brace.. I think that is all. I have had to use all of them at diff. times for when things pop out. I also have a Power Chair. I use when we go to the mall or walmart where you have to do a lot of walking.
I have a learned a lot in the past year. Who my true friends are. How to look at life. How to look at the world. Ive goten closer to my parents. I wish i was closer to my sister. I quit drinking and partying.
I do get depressed about this sometimes. But i try and look on the brighter side of things. It could be worse Right? anyways i hope this has helped you, learn a lil bit more about me.
